I thought when school ended, and the summer started, I would have plenty of time to spend in the pool and relax ! Ha! I don't know what I was thinking....We have been busier than ever, and the summer is slipping away faster than I can believe! School ended, and full time work at the shelter started, Elem is still in school 5 days a week and doing wonderfully in his class, and Seth has made a few work trips out of town already! And I started a Zero Base job as a PCT on Hem/Onc at Children's Hospital, which I LOVE! But throw in field trips, snack days and water play days at Elem's school, a few colds here and there, training for the new job, lots of birthday parties, snow cones, fireworks, father's day, losing my camera on our "stay-cation", boat trips to the lake, swimming at grammy and poppas, our anniversary, swimming lessons with friends, and a couple of movie nights, and you can see how my days are filling up so quickly! It is all worth it to spend more time with my family, but I am smooth worn out and cant seem to get caught up on sleep. Oh summer why must you go so quickly??!!! Elem is having a blast and is soaking up the sun like a mad man! haha. Seth and I are quite jealous of the tan he is acquiring with his SPF 50 and what not. And he is proving to love being outdoors despite the heat just like his mommy and daddy. I think our favorite part of the summer so far is going to the lake with Uncle Dustin and Aunt Ali on their boat, and more specifically Elem driving the boat. He loves the entire trip, and falls asleep sitting up cruising every time. I am so thankful for my family and all the fun we are having this summer. Just wish I could freeze time for a couple of days to make it last a little longer-but I'd probably just spend my time sleeping -so I guess I ll take what I can get.
