Cousin love-

The night before last Cecilia came over to play with Elem for a couple of hours before bed time, much like any other night she comes over. They run around, pulling out all of the toys they can find, sometimes arguing over them, drinking juice together, playing in the ball pit, running in and out of our bedroom closet, and so on. They were having a great time and playing really well by themselves-which is always a plus for Seth, myself, Ali and Dustin. It gives us a chance to chill with other adults, while our kid is still entertained and having fun. :)



While Cecilia was in the pantry trying to find something to eat, and Elem had found a baby brush from one of the baskets on his changing table, and decided to walk around brushing his hair. Then all of the sudden he ran over to all of us sitting on the couch, and said, "I wan brugh my sissy air". We all paused and starred at him for about 10 seconds trying to think of what he possible could be saying, and at the same time we all got what he was trying to say-, "I want to brush my sissy's hair"! Holy cow. He said a huge many syllable sentence! It was crazy, and a very cool moment, to hear him actually verbalize so well what he wanted to do,and then go and do it! His vocabulary is growing so fast that it is almost scary. And it is literally amazing to listen to him talk each and every day.
