"Mine, Yucky, and Get Up"!

Those seem to be the newest and most favorite words around the house this week. Haha. Its funny when you notice your kid has learned new words, and its that weird moment of , "wow he is totally using those words correctly, and he was not using them yesterday". So weird. And sadly, 2 of the 3 are usually used to be ordering me around, which I am guessing means he learned from Seth and me and means we have been ordering him around a lot lately. But it is still cute, and always cool to see that your child is learning new things each and every day and literally right before your eyes. Mine is currently referring to...things that are his! And man does he mean it-mine for his cup, waffles, juice, balls, toys, anything he gets his hands on. Yucky is currently referring to things he picks up off the floor, like small pieces of fuzz, and food scraps, and things like that. Oh and his shoes. For some reason I have taught him that when you sniff your shoes it is yucky. haha. And then finally, Get Up-is when he walks up to you and pushes on your back and tells you to get up. He uses this phrase more than any other phrase every single day right now. He loves to come up to us and tell us to get up, and then he shows us where he wants us to go. So funny! Keep on learning Elem,it is so fun for us to watch you grow!
